Teddy Roosevelt’s River of Doubt
June 16th, 2006 | Posted in Recom. Podcasts |
This podcast from IT Conversations was pretty fascinating, though it has little to do with technology. Teddy Roosevelt took an insane journey up a deep Brazilian river and nearly died. In this interview, Moira Gunn (an excellent interviewer) talks to Candice Millard, author of the book on Roosevelt’s adventure. It made me wonder why we do the crazy things we sometimes do.
