I love that Connect is free for up to 3 people. Unfortunately, even with just one other person, Connect slows down my computer considerably. My bandwidth is just kind of poor, apparently.

Thanks for the post. I think Adobe Connect is ideal for infrequent screen sharing where I can’t justify a GotoMeeting subscription

I have used teamviewer extensively to coach others and the program is free, highly functional and lets you control the other persons computer if need be (and if they trust you).

You know what’s funny? I love Adobe Connect. It’s great for presentations, and works to link multiple users.

For direct one-on-one I use a tool that a tech support company introduced to me: TeamViewer. Each party downloads the latest version of the TeamViewer app to their desktop and selects “Run” instead of “Install”. The system creates an instant connection, even through Firewalls.

I never tried switching the shared screen during a session. However, the app is so easy to use that it’s easy enough to disconnect and reconnect using alternate credentials.
