I decided to cancel the meetup tonight. Sorry. Too many people have competing activities and other plans. Plus we had a great unconference last night and most of us who were planning to attend the meetup already exchanged a lot of info.

I’d like to hold the meetup Thursday at 7 p.m. at Steamworks. On Wednesday Anne is holding an unconference, and Tuesday is too soon.

Please don’t meet up on the 7th – the stc chapter is having their meeting at the DocTrain that night. If you go out on the 6th, there are a number of places that won’t be busy, where you won’t have to make a reservation.

Doolin’s Irish Pub (on Granville)
Loose Moose (on Davie, more for drinks than food)
Hamburger Mary’s (on Davie)
The Keg (on Thurlow)
Morrissy (on Granville)
Atlantic Trap and Grill (on Davie, rowdy crowd)
Cassis (fancy tapas place in Gastown area)
Chill Winston (good for drinks, not food in Gastown)
Water St. Cafe (good italian place for dinner, need rez for larger group)
